Traditional Korean Martial Arts

Ji Do Kwan directly translates to School of Wisdom and was founded March 3, 1946. Founder Grandmaster Sang Sup Chun was one the earliest Koreans to bring Japanese Karate back to Korea.
Jidokwan is founded on the philosophy to train with perseverance, to NEVER give up. The double circle figure in the middle is a traditional Daruma doll. The Daruma is a balanced figure that will not stay down if knocked over, it will always come back up. This is one of Jidokwan's core beliefs of "Seven times down, eight times up". At Kim Brothers we embody these beliefs in our every day teachings.
